Rice Cooker Ham & Cheese Rice

This ham broccoli and cheese rice casserole is so tasteful. A meal especially loved by little people.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup / 250mL Dainty Brown Basmati rice
  • 1 1/2 cups / 375mL Water
  • 2 Tbsp / 30g Butter
  • 1/2 cup / 75g Deli Ham, diced
  • 1 small head of Brocoli, cut into small florets
  • 3/4 cup / 95g Cheddar, grated
  • Salt & Pepper

Preparation

Place the rice, water, butter and ham into the rice cooker. Close the lid and cook. Set a timer for 10 minutes.

When timer goes off, add the broccoli into the rice cooker, close the lid and continue cooking.

When done, fold in the cheddar and mix gently until melted. Adjust seasoning with salt & pepper. Serve.
