The first ever ‘sweet’ flavour in the Iconic Dainty canned rice line, find it on shelf early 2019.
HELPFUL HINT: For easier removal of rice from the can, fill can with warm water and let sit for 1 minute. Drain water and prepare as below.
Add all the ingredients to a medium/large pot, and heat up on a medium heat on your stove. Stir.
Once it starts bubbling, immediately reduce to a low heat for 8 minutes, stirring frequently. (If heat is too high the milk will curdle and your pot will boil over!)
Remove from heat and let cool to a pudding-like consistency. Serve warm or cool with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
Special touch: For added sweetness you can add 1/2 cup (125 mL) of maple syrup & for added creaminess you can substitute the milk for cream.
