White Chocolate Peppermint Glaze





Preparation

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 325F (165 C). Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions, adding peppermint extract instead of vanilla. Let the cooked brownies cool completely.

Step 2

For the Glaze – Using a pyrex measuring cup, melt the white chocolate chips with the cream in the microwave until the mixture is runny.

Step 3

Take a medium size bowl and add the icing sugar. Pour the melted white chocolate mixture, and the peppermint extract over the icing sugar and beat the mixture with electric beaters until it is well whipped.

Step 4

Spread the glaze on the cooled brownies and sprinkle with the crushed candy cane. Cut the brownies into squares and serve.

Step 5

NOTE: If you find peppermint extract too strong, omit it from the brownie mix and use vanilla extract instead.
