Dainty rice is now available throughout the Western Canadian provinces.

Dainty rices can be found at the following grocery stores in the West: Extra Foods, Freshco, Loblaws, No Frills, RCSS, Safeway, and Sobeys stores.

A Canadian brand, Dainty imports rice from all over the world, operates the only Canadian rice mill and we look forward to becoming a trusted rice brand to westerners.

In 2021 Dainty introduced packaging with 25% post consumer recycled content in it’s classic teal blue 900g rice line-up. We continue to explore and innovate responsibly.

Little know fact, we are actually just back in the West !

The company actually operated a rice mill in Victoria from the late 1800’s into the early 1900’s and imported rice by sailing ship, the clipper ship Thermopylae.
