Asian Rice

Easy peasy, literally! This super simple recipe is loved by everyone who loves peas – but you can always substitute them for another veggie!

Rice cooker 1


  • 1 1/2 cups/ 350mL Dainty Jasmine Rice
  • 3 cups/ 750mL Chicken Stock (preferably homemade)
  • 1 tbsp/ 15mL Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp/ 15mL Sesame Oil
  • Pinch of Sugar
  • 3 Spring Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup/ 125mL Frozen Peas



Combine the rice and chicken stock in the rice cooker. Cook.


At the end of the cooking time, stir the rice and check for tenderness. Add all other ingredients, stir, and leave on the warm setting for a further 3 minutes.


Keep covered until ready to serve, enjoy!
