Chocolate Banana Loaf

Banana bread with a serious chocolate twist!

  • 2 ripe bananas (the riper the better!)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup/80mL Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Package of Dainty GF Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 cup/250mL Chocolate chips



Preheat oven to 350F/176C, and grease a loaf pan using spray oil.


In a medium sized bowl, crush the bananas with a fork. Mix in the eggs and oil until smooth.


Add in cake mix and chocolate chips. Mix until just combined and pour into your loaf pan.


Bake for 45 mins , until a toothpick comes out of the center clean. (If the center of the loaf is still wet, continue baking until the toothpick comes out clean.)


Note: Let the loaf cool for at least 2 hours before cutting for best results. - You can use 3 bananas and reduce the chocolate chips if the chocolate flavour is too intense.
