Ingredients

  • 1 cup/250mL Dainty All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup/250mL Oat bran
  • 1 cup/250mL Oats (not quick cooking)
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup/125mL plain Yogourt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (honey as an alternative)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F/175C and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl stir together the flour, the oat bran, oats, ginger and cinnamon.

In another bowl mix together the yogourt, eggs and peanut butter.

Mix the wet ingredients into the dry and form a ball and turn out onto a floured surface. Knead the dough just a few times and then roll out to about 1/4 inch thick. Using a dog bone cookie cutter, or any other shape you choose, cut out the treats and place on your cookie sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes, until golden and firm. Allow to cool completely before serving!
