Preparation

Step 1

In a clean 1L Mason jar, layer the dry components in this order: Oats, Flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, coconut, chocolate chips, and nuts if using. Seal and add a holiday ribbon.

Step 2

On an attractive card, write out the directions on how to complete the recipe

    1. Preheat oven to 350* and Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. Empty the jar into a large mixing bowl
    3. Add in the eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
    4. Stir to combine. Scoop 2 tbsp size balls of the dough onto the baking sheet, using a fork, lightly flatten the ball into a cookie shape.
    5. Place in the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove and cook on a cooling rack.
Note from the chef

If you use gluten free oats, then the recipe becomes gluten free!
