Sausage and rice recipe

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the sausages until they are browned and cooked through and place them on the side while you continue the recipe.

Step 2

Sauté garlic, onions, and bell pepper and tomato in a casserole until they are tender.

Step 3

Add the rice and continue to cook until lightly toasted. Medium-high heat recommended.

Step 4

Pour in water with a pinch of salt or broth and bring the mixture to a liquid boil.

Step 5

Reduce heat and let it simmer until the rice is cooked.

Step 6

Slice the sausages and fold them into the rice mixture.

Step 7

Season with salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and any other desired spices.

Allow the flavours to meld for a few minutes before serving.
