Cook the sausages until they are browned and cooked through and place them on the side while you continue the recipe.
Sauté garlic, onions, and bell pepper and tomato in a casserole until they are tender.
Add the rice and continue to cook until lightly toasted. Medium-high heat recommended.
Pour in water with a pinch of salt or broth and bring the mixture to a liquid boil.
Reduce heat and let it simmer until the rice is cooked.
Slice the sausages and fold them into the rice mixture.
Season with salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and any other desired spices. Allow the flavours to meld for a few minutes before serving.
