Buttery seasoned Rice

Preparation

Step 1

Take out one large pot that has a good fitted lid, place all the ingredients,except the butter, in the pot and give it a good stir.

Step 2

Place over medium-high heat, and bring to a simmer until the edges are bubbling.

Step 3

Once bubbling, turn down the heat to medium-low, put the lid back on and let it simmer gently for precisely 13 minutes, without removing the lid.

Step 4

Open lid just a crack to ensure all liquid is absorbed.

Step 5

Remove from stove and let stand for 10 minutes with the lid firmly on.

Step 6

Add the desired amount of butter and fluff rice with a spatula. Serve & enjoy!

Step 7

DO IT IN A RICE COOKER – You can follow the same steps, just put everything into the bowl of your rice cooker and press cook, let the cooker do the rest! PS You can even add the butter at the beginning!
