In a large pot or stovetop casserole heat the oil on medium. Add the carrots, onion, garlic, salt, thyme, rosemary and pepper, let cook for about 3 minutes.
Add the tomato paste, maple syrup, and long&wild rice and stir. Then continue adding; water, white wine, and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce the heat to simmer, cover and leave for about 18 minutes.
Following the simmering time, add in the cream, white beans and kale and let simmer another few minutes.
Serve in large bowls with grated parmesan over top!
