A tremendous aroma is created by this simple recipe.
Place the Dainty Basmati Rice in a bowl of a rice cooker. Add the stock or water, orange peel, spices and salt. Close the lid to the rice cooker and cook.
Meanwhile, preheat a medium sautรฉ pan over high heat. When hot, add the oil, onion, and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the onions start to soften slightly. Remove from the heat.
When the rice is done, pour in the onion mixture and gently stir together. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve with a sprinkling of the sliced green onions on top.
